supporting disadvantaged children

Welcome to Kids in Rossendale

We are a small charity who works within the Rossendale Valley to provide support to disadvantaged children.

Apply For Funding

What we do

Kids in Rossendale gains most of its funding from the ‘Crawshawbooth Family Fun Day’ and donations from the general public.

Apply for funding

We strongly encourage everyone to apply for funding. While we can’t give funding to everyone who applies, each application will be considered by the Trustees individually.

To apply, please read the information on our ‘Apply’ page and then download and return the form to us.

You won’t receive any money directly, so please make sure you find a responsible adult from your supporting organisation first.

Mission

Our Mission

Kids in Rossendale aims to provide support to disadvantaged children within the Rossendale area. The realms of disadvantage may include socioeconomic, ill health, disability or simple circumstance. If a child is disadvantaged and therefore not able to enjoy the same life chances or opportunities as any other child then they would be edible for funding for the charity.

J&J Fire Engineering – John O Groats to Lands’ End Challenge

Local fire engineering company, J&J Fire Engineering, are attempting to complete 874 miles in the space of around 1 month via means or walking, running, cycling, rowing etc – basically by forms of exercise either at home, or outside. This challenge will start at “John O’Groats” on Monday 08/03/2021, with target of reaching “Lands’ End” by Sunday 11/04/2021.

They have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Kids in Rossendale, for which we are extremely grateful.
