Kids in Rossendale are today appealing for toys and gifts for their Christmas Appeal in partnership with Tesco Haslingden.
Starting from Tuesday 26th November 2019, people are able to visit Tesco Haslingden or Crawshawbooth Community Centre, choose a tag from their Christmas Tree and give a gift for a disadvantaged child this Christmas.
The Christmas Appeal, now in it’s fourth year, has been able to provide gifts to over 200 families in Rossendale since the appeal started.
Louise Cooper, Trustee for Kids in Rossendale, said “I don’t believe that any child, where ever they are in the world, should wake up on Christmas Day with nothing to open because their families aren’t able to afford it during the festive period. Our Christmas Appeal is designed to help those families in Rossendale who aren’t able to give gifts to their children this Christmas“.
If you know of any families or children that would benefit from our appeal, please contact us at hello@kidsinrossendale.org.uk with the details of the child (age and gender) along with some contact details for the family and we will include them in our gift distribution.
